Wait is that the end ? It feels like there should be more..resolution ?

There are two reasons for that; I've  kind of wanted to experiment with more open-ended endings  that don't tie things into a bow or overly significant way. I've also come to a point where I realize Vice is not just one thing, it's a saga/series of stories that I will one way or the other like to tell.

So, is there a sequel ?
Yes ! Which is to say I want to write one... it just needs plot.

How will it relate to Hidden ?
Well, the sequel will be somewhat similar to Hidden and mix some stuff from Sundays in there, but mostly of it's own thing and answer questions that Vice left behind.  I originally wanted to connect the reboot to the original series, but it didn't work out because the characters in Vice don't die like they did in Veritas. Don't ask me too much about the sequel, it's really just in the *exists in my head* phase.

Minnie lived ! Wait, Dakota and Saint lived too...
Not a question, but yes she lives. I kind of knew she was going to live from the start,because the only reason I killed her originally was for the fake out later.  Also, I just didn't have the means to really kill anyone off this time around.

So..there was no Alex in Vice, right  ?
No. I tried to work him in, but he just did not fit into this story. I know I teased that he may show up, but I knew from chapter one he wouldn't. That was back in my Sundays-denial days.

Will he be in the sequel ?
I can say with 99% confidence, yes. He will play a big part.

So, you mentioned some spinoffs...
I have no idea why, but my muse (who I just call CPShawna because of reasons) is obsessed with the Veritas/Vice world and cyberpunk fiction in general. It's bad guys. Cyberpunk just a strange genre that doesn't  exist anymore, but I've come to  really like how weird it is.

 Anyway,I have like 4 plot bunnies in my head all based on Vice characters and the world. I don't think I'll post everything I write, but I think I'll start my own little vault and work from there.

So...what kind of plot bunnies ?
Well, one I do plan to write and post is a  Sara prequel flash fiction...I'm just a little burned out right now (and I write super, super, slow ), so I may not get to it for a few weeks.

As for the others, I won't share too much, but I'm kind of flirting with the idea of writing about Luce and other students at The Arkham boarding school. I liked writing little scenes with all my teen characters and I'd like to do an entire serial of younger characters

Either way, I'm going to take a small break from Vice world. I'm really focused on HMLIS right now.
