“Who is there ?,” I called.
I heard wind moving beneath my sheets.
I turned to my left and quickly lit the lantern, a small glow filled the room. Sitting at the foot of my bed was a figure, I regrettably jumped at the site.
He was on the front of my bed, one knee pulled to his chest, large magnificent wings protruding from his back.
I jumped out of bed and tried to catch my breath, just staring at him. He was looking down and then quickly turned toward me, a serious look on his face.
“You will go through with this ?,” he asked.
Is that what this is over ?
“Yes, of course.” I said,” Tomorrow is an amazing day. The world will change at my will. Do you not see that ?”
He threw himself backwards off of my abandoned bed and paced slowly around the marble floor.
Finally, he turned the lantern down leaving us in pitch black again.
“Tomorrow is a bitter day,” he spat at me.
I heard brisk footsteps hurry towards my opened window and then the sound vanished.
