Plot twist ! A tweet buried in the original #HND Twitter thread had led to a surprising development...

Many users recognized #HND from appearing, under the stage name Angel, in BDSM videos, erotic photoshoots and brothels in the 90s and 00s.

Twitter sleuths were able to put together a definitive lists of #HND porn appearances using YouTube, PornHub, and internet archives. His identity was double confirmed by Texas-based creative marketing director Reid Abbot. Abbot made the  2010 GLAAD Circle nominated documentary Obscene. The documentary follows his journey uncovering the life and legend of the deceased Darren McBride, an early 80's openly gay pornstar  who claimed to slept with 1,000 men.

We've paid the $9.99 for the scintillating (if not clunky and poorly lit) documentary.

In the doc,  #HND makes his first cameo  dressed very un-nurse and un-dad like in a skin tight revealing leather outfit that shows most of Angel's iconic wing tattoo. He is part of a light-hearted, giggle-filled montage of ex-adult film stars ticking off the number of people they’ve worked with.

In his next appearance he is laughing with the director Abbot and jokingly asks to pleads the 5th when asked about how old he was when he started.

His demeanor is fun and slightly apprehensive, exactly what you expect from former porn star turned #HND but we see a darker side when he gives a somber head nod and shrug during a heartbreaking montage of Abbot asking male performers from the 80s and 90s if they are HIV positive. We even get a brief glimpse of a baby faced  kink sexfluencer, Maverick who brings up the tone of the montage up by proudly displaying the HIV tattoo on his forearm.

Angel's final feature in Obscene is longer and shows a much raunchier side. He is given a few seconds to describes his early experiences.

“I went from jerking off to fantasies about my principal to getting fucked in the ass by the most beautiful men I'd ever met….and they all like, never spoke to me! They'd just  just stick it in for the camera and then…come on my face and  try get it over with. It wasn’t sexy in the moment but people who watched it said it was the hottest thing so…. And you know….years later when I was the older one…and doing scenes with new people and like fucking like, teenagers…which I did a lot  because I played young I…was way nicer than anyone was to me.”

As part of the documentary Abbot was able to get rights for many of the videos filmed by the defunct two companies Angel worked for; Harmony Productions and Virtue. Reid digitized thousands of hours of tape and images, some of which has gone to queer archives but most of which has found their way on free porn sites and apparently recycled in popular Tumblr Kink!meme inspys.

But, wait there's more.

A Twitter user uncovered  an entire YouTube playlist of 2009 #HND appearances in videos for the failed startup Kinkly.com.  #HND doesn’t do much talking in the videos but he is briefly asked in one of Kinkly’s Behind-The-Scene vlogs why everyone should have a kink.

“I don’t know…vanilla all the time is boring--I get bored, I guess,” he responds nervously while buying a Diet Coke from a vending machine. When asked about is own fantasies he seems to think. “I just like dominant men who…remind me of my place. I’m not afraid of a little taboo…oh, god what the fuck am I talking about ? I...need caffeine!”

While it’s not clear where hubby #HNDBae fits into this timeline, Twitter users agree #HNDbae looks like he keeps him satisfied. Sex workers have rejoiced at seeing one of their own but now that we've seen a sexier side to #HND  the internet  has...been interneting.
